Adecco US, Inc. Accounts Payable and Processing Specialist in Weatherford, Texas
Adecco is hiring immediately for a Accounts Payable and Processing Specialist with a local client in Weatherford, TX. Pay is based upon experience from $20/hr.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain vendor accounts, including reconciling statements, resolving discrepancies, and responding to vendor inquiries.
Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, in a timely manner.
Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
Monitor and track vendor contracts, agreements, and payment terms to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing and payment issues in a timely manner.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Experience with Macola software desired but not required.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
