CNC Machinist - 1st Shift
Shift : 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Tuesday - Friday
Location : Sterling Heights, MI
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts to precise tolerances.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations.
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials.
Calculate and set machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and cutting depth and angle.
Start up equipment and identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, adjusting controls as necessary.
Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications.
Conduct trial runs to ensure machine settings' accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to resolve machining issues.
Maintain good housekeeping practices.
Adhere to company quality policies and ensure compliance with laws, environmental considerations, and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MUST HAVE 5 Axis turning and milling experience
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
Proficiency in basic math operations.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $29.00 per hour
