Adecco US, Inc. Front Desk Receptionist in St Charles, Illinois

Adecco is searching for a Front Desk Receptionist for a large publishing company in St. Charles, IL. This role will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates

3-6 months with possibility of extension or hire based on performance

$22/hr - weekly pay

Monday-Friday 9a-5p - on-site 5 days a week

Responsibilities

  • Answers a high volume of incoming calls and directs the callers to the appropriate associates.

  • Forwards messages for various personnel.

  • Provides callers with information such as assigned ISR for the territory and product, company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, email, company website and other related information

  • Greet persons entering organization

  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness

  • Manage queries from the public and customers

  • Monitor logbook, issue visitor badges

  • Additional Administrative / Mailroom tasks as needed

  • Overtime may be required

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Computer skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office a must

  • Professional appearance

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise

  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
