The Worlds Largest Search Engine is seeking a Risk & Compliance Specialist!

Duration: 12 months

Work Location: SFO, CA (Remote)

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (M-F)

Pay Rate: $ 28.50- $ 35.00

Project Overview:

As part of a team with a mission to power People Ops to deliver exceptional customer service to Candidates, you will assume ownership and end to end responsibility over risk & compliance initiatives for the vendor portfolio. Overall Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement a new access infrastructure program and provisioning process for outsourcing engagements.

  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, tool/data owners, and operations teams to identify ways to enhance existing access infrastructure and enable new opportunities with greater security.

  • Manage the annual risk assessment cycle and facilitate the development of risk remediation plans

  • Maintain our compliance inventory and help mitigate all identified risks

  • Implement the penetration testing framework and working with external providers to conduct testing where required

  • Manage cross functional relationship with vendor partners on Extended Workforce onboarding processes and Vendor Security Assessment programs

  • Implement best practice risk management activities across the team

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of project management and operations experience.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Experience with global risk projects, compliance programs, and solutions.

  • You are detail oriented with hands-on experience creating program project plans and active management of program RAID (risks, action items, issues, dependencies & decisions) logs.

  • Your communication skills create effective engagement with stakeholders and leadership

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field (Accounting/Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance)

  • Experience with common control frameworks; risk assessments, and regulatory review and compliance requirements analysis

  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills and attention to detail with experience solving problems across multiple functions and stakeholders

  • Strong analytic capacity and experience in the operationalization and/or development of scalable solutions and structure within a complex environment

  • Demonstrated project management and support capabilities, interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, and ability to challenge

  • Developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to apply these in a wide variety of situations, including executive briefings

  • Experience with outsourcing (including offshore) agreements and running end-to-end operations.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
