Adecco is assisting a local company in recruiting for a current a General Labor/Shipping Associate opening in Reston, VA . This is for a temporary opportunity. As a General Laborer/Shipping Associate you will be responsible for handling the physical movement and organization of goods within a warehouse setting, including shipping, and receiving items, packing, and boxing products for dispatch, maintaining records through data entry, and keeping track of the company's assets via scanning inventory. Job Responsibility
· Move boxes around in a big storage place.
· Send out packages to people who ordered them.
· Package items into boxes to keep them safe while traveling.
· Document computer steps.
· Use a special tool to count everything the store has.
Qualification/Skill Education
· Proven work experience in similar role.
· Warehouse experience in an office building, but work area is more like a warehouse style.
· Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
· Experience with packing and boxing.
· Proficiency in data entry.
· Ability to operate scanners for asset inventory.
· Attention to detail.
· Punctual and professional attitude.
Preferred:
· Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
· A high school qualification or equivalent would be preferable.
· The working hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
· Pay $18-$19 per hour.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
