Our client a leading components manufacturer is currently seeking a CNC Programmer for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity.
About the job
Essential Functions:
Create and maintain CNC programs for EDM, Milling, and Jig Grinding.
Create and maintain CNC programs for 3 axis surface milling hardened tool steels.
Create and maintain Tooling Inspection Reports.
Create prototype routings and control plans.
Program, operate and maintain 3d printers.
Create product drawings in collaboration with engineering.
Administer drawing files in a Product Data Management (PDM) environment.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Powermill, EDGECAM or comparable CAD/CAM software.
4+ Years experience as a CNC Programmer
Working knowledge of G and M codes
Proficiency with Excel
Job related demands (i.e. physical, travel):
Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with rapid changes in priority.
Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods. 1st shift 5:45am-2:45pmSalary: $38hr-40hr
