Adecco's Permanent Recruitment team is assisting a large manufacturing company in Portland, CT. We are looking for experienced CNC Machinist. This is a full time direct hire (Permanent) job opportunity. If interested please APPLY now!
Position Title: CNC Set-up Machinist
Pay Rate Range: $25/hr.- $32/hr. depending on experience
Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) Mon.- Fri.
Location: Portland, CT
Responsibilities Include:
Operating CNC and other manufacturing machines to produce machined parts;
Planning production by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.
Interpret Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).
Ensuring proper dimensions and tolerance levels for the finished product.
Experience:
3 yrs. + experience with CNC machine operation in aerospace or medical device industry.
CNC Set-up experience is MUST
Perform basic mathematical computations.
Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T) knowledge is required.
Ability to use measuring equipment: calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators etc.
Qualifications Include:
Attention to detail and must be quality conscious
Excellent communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
