Warehouse Distribution Associates Needed ASAP

A well-established, Western US-based company providing a variety of chemical products to industrial and construction markets is in a growth mode and needs several Warehouse Associates for the Phoenix location. Products include: Ammonia Products, Calcium Chloride, Magnesium Hydroxide Products, Bleach & Chlorine Products, Acid & Alkali Products, Decking & Sealers. Monday-Friday shift, averaging 45-47 hours/week - occasional weekend work if necessary (candidate should be somewhat flexible to work any of them, or at least 2 of them) Shift A: 3am-11:30am

Shift B: 5am-1:30pm

Shift C: 7am-3:30pm

Requirements:

· 3-5 years' prior experience in warehouse/distribution.

· Familiarity with chemicals (oxidizers, corrosives, poisonous gases, and flammables) is preferred but not required.

· Bill of Lading (BOL): Understanding how to read BOLs, pull correct items from shelves, and load trucks for shipment.

· Hazwoper Certifications: Certifications are a plus but not mandatory (either current or expired). Knowledge of corrosive materials, spill mitigation, containment, and proper cleanup procedures is beneficial.

· Loading and Unloading: Load products off trucks and shift containers on/off the yard.

· Pallet Wrapping Machine: Operate a pallet wrapping machine.

· Needs sharp attention to detail, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work under various weather conditions in AZ - extreme heat and cold.

· Ability to lift 50-60 pound bags (heaviest bag material).

· Understand the basic fundamentals of warehousing: "first in, first out."

· Equipment Operation: Ability to drive a forklift, electric pallet jacks, and hand pallet jacks.

· English Proficiency: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.

· Be able to work "Old School": In our warehouse, there is no IMS system (Inventory Management System); Warehouse associates must read each item off a shipper manually, ensuring accuracy to pull the correct product from the warehouse.

Salary: Salary starts at $20-23/hour (depending on shift and experience)

Overtime paid after 8 hours/day.
