Adecco US, Inc. Service and Repair Technician in Oakdale, Minnesota

Adecco is seeking a skilled Technical Repair Technician to join our team in Oakdale, MN. This role involves conducting technical evaluations, troubleshooting, and repairing medical devices.   • Location: Oakdale, MN (55128)

  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break

  • Pay: 26.62

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and semi-complex technical evaluations on field returns, encompassing troubleshooting, calibration, and testing procedures.

  • Generate formal reports from field complaint investigations, contributing actively to departmental goals and objectives.

  • Prioritize tasks to optimize customer satisfaction and support business unit objectives.

  • Keep abreast of technological advancements and newly released products.

  • Innovate new strategies for field return investigations and repairs.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians on troubleshooting and repair methodologies.

  • Offer technical support to customers through phone and written correspondence.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

  • Conduct training sessions for customers or external vendors as required.

  • Provide recommendations based on analysis results, influencing decisions impacting customer satisfaction.

Impact and Scope:

  • Independently plan and execute field service activities, focused on enhancing customer satisfaction.

  • Work in compliance with GMP and ISO 9000 guidelines.

  • Receive direction via verbal or written instructions, overseeing significant blocks of work.

  • Responsibilities directly impact the safety and effectiveness of medical devices used by patients.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or two-year vocational/technical diploma in Electronics; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent coupled with eight years of progressive experience in servicing and repairing medical devices.

  • Four or more years of experience in servicing and repairing pumps using electronic test equipment.

  • Proficient in using meters to measure voltage, current, and resistance.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify resistor values by color codes and diagnose issues with returned devices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Knowledgeable in electronics principles and familiar with ICU Medical devices.

  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and communicating proficiently with customers.

  • Preferably Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) with familiarity using Oracle and experience with the Installed Base (IB) module.

  • Completion of Company Bloodborne Pathogen Training.

Pay Details: $26.62 per hour
