Adecco US, Inc. Capital Project Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee

Adecco Search has partnered with an industry-leading, global, manufacturer to recruit and hire a full time Capital Project Engineer in Nashville,TN.

The Capital Project Engineer will lead plant projects and be responsible for planning, forecasting, resourcing, and monitoring project functions to ensure accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the planning, development, and execution of capital projects, from conception through to completion.

  • Developing scope, budget, and parameters for project implementation.

  • Identifying project responsibilities and delegating tasks and deliverables to the appropriate personnel.

  • Forecasting expenditures and materials and acquiring necessary resources to complete project on time.

  • Developing and controlling the full project-plan lifecycle and ensuring timely completion by preparing, scheduling, and coordinating each phase of the project(s).

  • Performing quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and reporting progress regularly.

  • Determining project specifications, monitoring progress, and initiating corrective action plans if necessary.

  • Facilitating creation and maintenance of project documentation, including statement of work documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standard maintenance procedures (SMPs).

  • Assigning responsibilities and providing leadership and direction to the project team.

  • Ensuring compliance to standards, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and specifications .

  • Working with internal and external parties to develop business proposals, project statements, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.

  • Overseeing Project Team and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar field required

  • 5+ years of relative project management/engineering experience is required

  • Proficiency with engineering tools/software

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
