Olsten Staffing is assisting a local flooring company with their search to find a skilled Floor Repair Technician to join their team! This is a full-time temp-to-hire position with benefits! Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!
Responsibilities for this job include:
-Conducting thorough inspections of damaged floors to determine the extent of repairs required and any other underlying issues
-Perform repairs on various types of flooring materials including hardwood and laminate
-Replace damaged sections of flooring as necessary and ensuring quality integration with existing floor
-Prepare surfaces for repair or installation by cleanings, sanding, leveling or priming as required
-Assist with installation of new flooring materials while following industry practices and manufacturer guidelines
-Apply finishes, coatings and sealants to protect and enhance appearance
-Interact professionally with customers and address any concerns or questions they may have
-Maintain accurate documentation or work performed
Qualifications for this job include:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Proven work experience in floor repair, installation or other related fields
-Proficient in using tools and common floor repair equipment
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and stand, sit, stoop for majority of shift
-Excellent communication skills
-Reliable transportation
This position will have a starting pay of $20-25/hr. based on experience and is full-time Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
