Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a Direct Hire job opportunity with a large industrial company located in Casper WY. As an integral part of the Executive Management team, the Finance Manager will report to the Business Unit Manager and play a strategic role in the company's overall management. The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and overseeing all financial activities on a day-to-day basis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, forecasting, and insurance activities.

  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and comply with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant federal, state, and local financial and tax reporting laws.

  • Assess the organization's financial position and issue periodic reports on financial stability, liquidity, and growth in a global context.

  • Advise executive management on the financial implications of business activities.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community.

  • Manage the sales order book and pipeline.

  • Take direct responsibility for the accounting department, including evaluating, hiring, and terminating staff.

  • Monitor legal compliance and identify opportunities to improve company performance.

  • Evaluate overhead expenses and budget variances.

  • Analyze sales and production to determine cash flow needs or necessary adjustments.

  • Advocate for and reinforce Austin's strategic direction.

  • Manage financial forecasting and modeling based on past performance and factors that may affect future revenue and expenses.

  • Provide financial forecasts and models to support various initiatives.

  • Participate in negotiating the CBA (union contract).

  • Support IT, HR, and GM departments to ensure smooth business continuity.

  • Represent the company at an executive level within the community.

  • Understand the operational requirements of steel fabrication and manufacturing.

Qualifications:

To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to effectively carry out each essential duty. The requirements below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CMA, or CPA highly preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Significant experience in corporate-level finance highly preferred.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and ERP systems.

  • Ability to analyze financial information and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Competencies:

To successfully perform this job, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and manage effectively at all levels of the organization, both locally and remotely.

  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.

  • Knowledge of international exchange rates.

The salary for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 DOE, and it is a Direct Hire opportunity. Must be on-site in Casper.

Pay Details: $72.00 to $96.15 per hour
