Adecco US, Inc. Accounts Payable Specialist I in Middlefield, Ohio

Adecco is currently recruiting for n Accounts Payable Specialist in the Middlefield, Ohio area. Our client a leader in compounding materials is looking for a n Accounts Payable Specialist you would support the Finance Department and also provide support within approved policies, procedures, standards, and defined limits on credit matters within the area of responsibility.

PAY: $21.15

Position Summary

To perform administrative support involving the processing and maintenance of financial and statistical records. To accurately process and record financial data (i.e., expense reports and other accounts invoices).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable using the Company's accepted standards and procedures, utilizing accounting software.

  • Process vendor invoices using a 3-way match system; process utility invoices and expense reports; special check requests when needed in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the Company standards and practices.

  • Responsible for managing end to end process for accounts payable discrepancies related to 3-way match system. Includes monitoring for 3-way match discrepancies, researching the issues, determining the solution in accordance with Company accepted rules and regulations.

  • Daily mail distribution, including AP email box.

  • Scan invoices, if applicable.

  • Maintain open lines of communication with other departments to ensure efficient payment of invoices.

  • New vendor set up verification in accordance with Company's internal rules and regulations including obtaining vendor's W-9 form and all other necessary documentation.

  • Ability to recognize, categorize and record expenses utilizing the Company Chart of Accounts and Approval System.

  1. any other project/task as assigned by Management. High School diploma or equivalent.

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Associate Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or related field, preferred.

  • Experience may be considered in lieu of education.

  • Two (2) years' office experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Good computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook). Knowledge of SAP preferred.

  • Good cooperation and collaboration skills.

  • Attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliant.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to interact well with all personality types.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

  • Ability to handle personal and confidential information.

Pay Details: $21.15 per hour
