Job: Packaging Associate

Type: 2nd Shift, Temp to hire

Pay: $16/hour

Position Description Performs all tasks necessary for Kit to Order and/or Kit to Stock processes, processes orders of finished inventory for outbound warehouse tasks, and pack stations; while maintaining required productivity levels.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs cycle counts using mobile data entry equipment

• Enters required information into computer

• Performs a variety of functions on various benches, lines, and stations

• Retrieves, packages, labels, and verifies parts; workstation setups; returns product to stock, back flushes transactions, and operates/monitors various equipment related to product packaging

• Performs quality checks to insure parts are meeting quality criteria

• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

• Ability to use computers and/or mobile collection devices

• Self motivated, dependable reliable

• Ability to work independently and with others

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma

General Education Degree Experience Requirements

• Previous packaging experience preferred

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material, may be required to lift up to 70lbs.

Generally good working conditions.

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Job rotation may be required, where applicable

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
