Position: Director of Nursing

Location: Memphis, TN

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism.

  • Daily Rounds and Meetings: Conduct daily rounds and attend morning and afternoon meetings.

  • Ensure Compliance: Stay on top of state compliance, audits, and surveys.

  • Patient Care: Oversee patient care, documentation, and handle any arising issues promptly.

  • Team Building: Foster a positive work environment, set standards, and hold the team accountable.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10 years as a DON with a background in long-term care, including state compliance and survey experience.

  • Licenses: Unencumbered RN state license.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.

  • Special Skills: Experience with Vents and Trachs.
