Job Summary The Maintenance Mechanic I performs general facility maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixtures and assisting with safety-related repairs. Additionally, this role supports preventative maintenance, machinery repairs, and overall equipment upkeep. The shifts will be Monday-Thursday and starting out at $18.00 an hour! Essential Functions

• Assists with machinery maintenance, including installation, repairs, and rebuilding.

• Fabricates repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.

• Conducts preventive maintenance on production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications.

• Provides maintenance information by responding to questions and requests.

• Responsible for building or facility maintenance.

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

Preferred

• 2 years of related experience.

Frequently:

• Reaching by extending hands and arms

• Handling objects by seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or working with hands

• Picking, pinching, or working primarily with fingers

• Near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less

• Judging distances and spatial relationships (seeing objects three-dimensionally)

Occasionally:

• Climbing (ascending/descending ladders, stairs, etc.)

• Maintaining balance to prevent falls when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces

• Stooping (bending body downward and forward using full use of the lower extremities and back muscles)

• Kneeling (bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee(s))

• Crouching (bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine)

• Crawling (moving about on hands and knees)

• Perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touch

• Talking (expressing or exchanging information through spoken word)

• Hearing (perceiving the nature of sounds by ear)

• Adjusting vision to bring objects into sharp focus

• Identifying and distinguishing colors

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
