Title: Washer Attendant - 3rd Shift
Olsten is assisting a local client recruiting for a Washer Attendant job in Lumberton, NC. This is a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. Working as a Washer Attendant you will Clean and Inspect Washers and associated equipment, which washes stainless steel bowls. Uses such materials as water, acid cleaning agents and nozzles mostly in confined space areas, and wet environment Maintain 5's on washers and any storage area where washer equipment (pumps, hoses, tools, etc.).

Responsibilities& Duties
Sweeps, shovels, or vacuums loose debris and salvageable scrap into containers and removes from work area.
Mixes Cleaning solutions and abrasive compositions and other compounds according to formula using proper PPE. Disposes of waste material in a proper manner using environmental guidelines.
Transports materials, equipment, or supplies to and from work area, using buckets or forklifts (Forklift License Required). Uses proper PPE when transporting chemicals and staging.
Disassembles and reassembles washer machines to remove and reattach water pipes, nozzles, removing trash from water pipes using hand tools.
Connects hoses and lines to pumps and other equipment using correct type of lines and pumps approved for the material being pumped. Pumps material into approved containers only.
Lubricates machinery and equipment, and performs minor repairs and adjustments, using hand tools.
Turns valves or handles on equipment to regulate pressure and flow of water, air, steam, or abrasives from sprayer nozzles.
Turns valves or disconnects hoses to eliminate water, cleaning solutions, or vapors from machinery or tanks.
Pumps all press pits and tracks amount pumped. Ensure area is clean and totes are sealed and staged in assigned area.
Other duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Mfg. Environment.
Prior Maintenance Helper experience preferred
Forklift Experience
Experience using Hand tools
The Washer Attendant is a 3rd shift and the pay for this position is $16.25 plus overtime as needed. This will be a Temporary to Hire opportunity.

Pay Details: $16.25 per hour
