Adecco US, Inc. Biomedical Equipment Technician in Largo, Florida

Join Adecco and discover a rewarding career opportunity as a Biomedical Equipment Technician! We are assisting a client in their search for a talented individual to fill this exciting position. This role offers competitive compensation ( $21.00/hour ) with the potential to convert to a permanent role at the end of the contract period.

Biomedical Equipment Technicians are responsible for repairing and performing electrical and mechanical tests on medical devices to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards. They work as part of a team and adhere to strict procedures while documenting their processes.

Available Shifts: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and analyzing electro-mechanical devices

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to follow work instructions

  • Basic math skills

  • Proficient computer skills required to enter data, navigate, and routinely toggle between various applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and company software programs

  • Ability to work independently to effectively determine root cause of failure.

  • Ability to perform basic statistical analysis from device history logs, read diagrams and drawings and make repair recommendations.

  • Ability to write clear and concise reports to sufficiently capture and defend evaluation findings.

  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs

Description:

  • Perform comprehensive examinations, testing, and repairs of medical devices using specialized instruments.

  • Utilized technical knowledge to interpret data, test accuracy, identify patterns, and determine root causes.

  • Document troubleshooting analyses through clear and concise technical summaries.

  • Maintain efficient service line flow, working independently and collaboratively to optimize process yield.

  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to environmental, health, and safety protocols.

  • Promote a culture of safety by actively preventing accidents and achieving zero-harm goals.

  • Uphold quality standards by following established Quality Management Systems and meticulously completing documentation.

  • Contribute to team efficiency by rotating into repair and testing areas as needed.

  • Perform inspections according to established procedures (as required).

  • Provide training to new employees (as needed).

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
