RESPONSIBILITIES:
Calibrating a wide range of equipment and instrumentation within pre-determined accuracy and precision tolerances. Equipment that is in scope includes but is not limited to: balances, mechanical/electronic pipettes, thermometers, tachometers, timers, multi-meters, check weights and other standards (that are then used to calibrate other devices), pressure control devices and environmental chambers.
Operate in a regulated pharmaceutical environment and have excellent attention to detail.
Adept at maintaining a schedule, and adjusting the schedule, based on the needs of partner groups.
Necessary written and oral communication skills and the ability to review the work of peers and assess the work of external vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited Institution in Metrology, Electronic Engineering, Physics or appropriate technical discipline, advanced metrology/calibration training and certifications or previous military PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory, or comparable) experience .
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a metrology, calibration, or validation function; preferably within a research/regulatory environment.
Experience operating in a cGMPs environment is not required but is helpful.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
