We are seeking a motivated leader the team as an Anime Enthusiast Buyer. In this standalone role, you will have the opportunity to shape our inventory and connect with fans around the world. Responsibilities:
Determine styles to buy stock in and the appropriate depth to meet market demand.
Dictate wholesale pricing tiers based on margin targets, ensuring profitability.
Provide our Japan team with accurate sales forecasts to streamline production and distribution.
Collaborate with the Sales Team Manager to select styles to solicit, aligning with company goals and customer preferences.
Negotiate pricing with third-party partners to secure the best possible deals for our company.
Track deliveries of orders and coordinate with the sales team to optimize release dates and maximize sales opportunities.
Work closely with the Connect Web Director to strategize sales initiatives, adjust pricing strategies, and coordinate release dates for online platforms.
Utilize your lens buyer experience to identify and source unique products that resonate with our target audience.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in buying or planning, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
Deep knowledge of anime and pop culture, with a genuine enthusiasm for the industry and its communities.
Experience as a lens buyer is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners.
Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
Exceptional business and financial acumen, coupled with strong analytical skills to drive informed purchasing decisions.
