We are seeking a motivated leader the team as an Anime Enthusiast Buyer. In this standalone role, you will have the opportunity to shape our inventory and connect with fans around the world. Responsibilities:

  • Determine styles to buy stock in and the appropriate depth to meet market demand.

  • Dictate wholesale pricing tiers based on margin targets, ensuring profitability.

  • Provide our Japan team with accurate sales forecasts to streamline production and distribution.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team Manager to select styles to solicit, aligning with company goals and customer preferences.

  • Negotiate pricing with third-party partners to secure the best possible deals for our company.

  • Track deliveries of orders and coordinate with the sales team to optimize release dates and maximize sales opportunities.

  • Work closely with the Connect Web Director to strategize sales initiatives, adjust pricing strategies, and coordinate release dates for online platforms.

  • Utilize your lens buyer experience to identify and source unique products that resonate with our target audience.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in buying or planning, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.

  • Deep knowledge of anime and pop culture, with a genuine enthusiasm for the industry and its communities.

  • Experience as a lens buyer is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.

  • Exceptional business and financial acumen, coupled with strong analytical skills to drive informed purchasing decisions.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
