Adecco Medical is seeking. We are currently seeking a dedicated Care Navigator to join our compassionate team that specializes in providing comprehensive healthcare services for geriatric and senior patients. This role is pivotal in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care and support.

Job Summary:

As a Care Navigator, you will be responsible for assisting geriatric and senior patients in navigating their healthcare journey. You will provide support with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, updating medical records, and guiding patients through paperwork and electronic kiosks. Your warm demeanor and excellent customer service skills will be crucial in fostering positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in scheduling appointments and coordinating their healthcare services

  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical procedures

  • Update and maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems

  • Guide patients through paperwork and electronic kiosks, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered

  • Answer patient inquiries and provide information regarding healthcare services, procedures, and billing

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times

  • Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and their families

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment

  • Experience with scheduling appointments, insurance verifications, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive and warm demeanor

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Compassionate attitude and ability to empathize with senior and geriatric patients

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
