Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Hopkinton, NH who is looking to hire additional Quotation Technicians on 1st shift! This is a temp to hire opportunity Position:

• Quotation Technician

Pay Rate:

• $25.00 - $35.00/hr based on previous experience

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

• Overtime as necessary

• Flexible scheduling available if supervisor approved

Job Summary:

The Quotation Technician prepares accurate quotes for pricing and builds estimates for special items by gathering information and analyzing material and job costing. This position requires a process driven team player with strong numerical skills and an analytical mindset.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare quotes by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

• Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

• Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

• Present prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

• Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Possesses a great attention to detail, while also possessing the ability to quickly address customer issues.

• Capability to work with a computerized sales system (SalesForce / CRM preferred).

• Ability to clearly communicate customer expectations (requests) into a request for quote (RFQ).

• Ability to read blueprints & understanding of measurement equipment.

• Familiarity of computer design software such as CAD, Solidworks, etc.

• Ability to understand and utilize management reports, memo, and other documents to conduct business.

Education and Professional Experience:

• BA/BS in Engineering, Design or related field preferred.

• Previous experience in the prototyping industry preferred.

• High School diploma or GED required
