Adecco is assisting one of Gridley top production companies, Sunsweet Dryers in their search to fill an entry level General Labor/Warehouse position in Gridley, CA. Multiple positions available, with lots of OT hours! These general labor/warehouse jobs are seasonal opportunities but associates who perform well may be considered for longer term/permeant assignments! RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Fills, stacks, moves, or handles materials weighing up to 50 pounds frequently or continuously. Must be able to use arms, hands, or feet to grip, hold, push or manipulate various objects, fruit, controls, or equipment. Must repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and periodically lift and or manipulate with assistance 150 pounds.
Maintains correct product and material availability to line operations.
Loads and unloads product as necessary.
Properly marks product or materials as directed.
Performs routine general clean-up maintenance work.
Collects and empties trash and litter.
Performs routine general building maintenance work including Janitorial, surface preparations, painting and working involved in maintaining buildings.
Notifies supervisor of substandard assembly defective parts, tools, equipment, and material or other conditions which inhibit or detract from production performance.
Must be able to work overtime if required.
Keep work area clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment.
Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and safe work practices in assigned area.
Performs other duties relating to the overall effort as directed.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Forklift Experience is a Big Plus!
1-2 years in a similar role performing Warehouse duties.
Ability to read and write effectively, as well as perform basic math functions.
Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outside in cold or hot weather.
PAY / SCHEDULE:
Pay: $17.50/hour to start (possible pay increase based on performance and attendance)
Multiple shifts available with lots of OT available!
