We're on a quest to find a Medical Support Specialist extraordinaire for our client's Plasma Center in Greenfield, Wisconsin (zip code 53220 for the GPS enthusiasts). And guess what? We're rolling out the red carpet for new grads too!
The Nitty-Gritty:
Compensation: $26-28/hour (because saving lives shouldn't mean living on cheese curds)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotating shifts (1 week opening, 1 week mid, 1 week closing - variety is the spice of life!)
Your Superhero Toolkit:
LPN License (fresher than a Friday night fish fry)
BLS certification (because knowing how to save lives is kind of important)
Plasma knowledge and venipuncture skills are bonus points (but we won't ask you to recite the periodic table)

Your Mission Responsibilities (Should You Choose to Accept It):
You will assess donor eligibility, which includes managing informed consent, providing AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks, performing physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.
You will assess donor reactions occurring at the facility as specified in the SOPs. Follow the relevant SOPs for medical emergencies, including the implementation of the Center Physician's standing orders and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities.
Team up with the Center Physician like Batman and Robin (minus the tights) or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
Champion vaccination Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable (be the superhero Wisconsin deserves)
Master the art of incident management. You will evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with the SOPs. Adhere to the SOPs for medical emergencies, which includes executing the Center Physician's standing orders and organizing donor transport to emergency care facilities.
Potentially become a Pandemic Coordinator (because every team needs a Captain America) when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
