Adecco US, Inc. Outpatient Clinician in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Goal:

The Outpatient Clinician is responsible to the Outpatient Clinical Supervisor for delivering therapy and case management (as applicable) to clients with various presenting concerns and diagnostic criteria within an office setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intake assessments for counseling, completing all necessary paperwork.

  • Provide individual, family, and/or multi-systems therapy for assigned clients.

  • Maintain timely and accurate progress notes and client files.

  • Participate in biweekly individual supervision sessions with the Outpatient Clinical Supervisor.

  • Attend bimonthly group team meetings, presenting cases and clinical topics as required. Contribute ideas, feedback, and engage in department planning. Seek and provide feedback as needed.

  • Continuously evaluate client needs and make appropriate referrals for additional services or more intensive care if necessary.

  • Develop Treatment Plans, Quarterly Reviews, Discharge Summaries, Clinical Progress Notes, and other required documents per contract specifications.

  • Manage the transfer/discharge process for clients and their families, informing the Outpatient Clinical Supervisor and relevant support staff of the projected transfer/discharge goals.

  • Monitor the overall quality of treatment services provided to clients on your caseload and assess their adequacy in meeting treatment objectives. Communicate effectively with psychiatric services regarding clinical and case management/financial issues as they arise.

  • Show respect for others and understand their needs and feelings, regardless of race, social, ethnic, economic, and religious background; demonstrate nurturance, patience, and acceptance towards others.

  • Ensure timely compliance with Quality Assurance standards relevant to the employee's roles and functions.

  • Utilize the knowledge and skills of your supervisor to enhance both counseling and administrative abilities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Experience in providing individual, family, and group counseling is preferred.

  • Must provide proof of a limited or full license in one of the following areas: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

  • Commitment to the agency's goals, purpose, and objectives.

Pay Details: $62,000.00 to $68,500.00 per year
