We are currently collaborating with a leading player in the steel industry, seeking a dedicated Yard Hand with forklift experience to join their team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for Yard Hands with forklift experience to support our client's operations in the steel industry. The Yard Hand will be responsible for various tasks related to the movement and organization of steel materials within the yard, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
Responsibilities:
-Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move steel materials within the yard.
Organize and maintain inventory in the yard, ensuring accurate tracking of materials.
Perform general yard maintenance tasks such as cleaning and debris removal.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production targets.
Assist in conducting regular inspections of equipment and reporting any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
Previous experience operating a forklift in a yard or warehouse environment.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
