Adecco is seeking an experienced Burr Blending Operatot for a local client located in East Granby, CT. These are Temp to Hire opportunities. Pay is $18 - $27 hr, depending on experience.
1st shift Mon- Fri 7:00am- 3:30pm
2nd shift Mon- Friday 3:00pm-12:30pm Your Expertise: • 3+ years in aerospace environment• Good mathematical skills• Ability to read and interpret manual instructions and operation sheets• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills Is your expertise different from the above? Your Challenge: • Perform a variety of duties to burr and blend surfaces on aircraft engine parts according to instructions contained in operation sheets.• Use appropriate abrasives and air guns required for each part or operation. If needed, set-up holding devices such as rotary and hydraulic tables. Use carbide drills, emery cratex and flat wheels, PSA discs, buffing and wire sheets and diamond files according to the operation requirements.• Work from established practices and overhaul manual instructions and procedures to perform a variety of duties to prepare parts for subsequent operations. • Detect faulty operations and materials and report these and other problems to immediate supervisor. Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations.• Perform other duties as required Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required
This position is a safety-sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $27.00 per hour
