Duration: 3 months (with possibility of transition into full-time tech role)

Location: Eagle Mountain

Hours of work: 0800 - 1600 Mon - Fri

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Centre Cable Management Technician on a temporary basis. As a Data Centre Cable Management Technician, you will be responsible for organizing and tidying cables within server racks in our data centre facility. This critical role involves working closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure that cables are neatly routed, labelled, and secured to optimize airflow, minimize clutter, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and tidy cables within server racks according to company standards and best practices.

  • Label cables accurately to facilitate easy identification and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure that cables are properly routed to minimize interference and optimize airflow.

  • Identify and address any cable management issues or discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement cable management improvements.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the data centre environment.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cable management or data centre operations is preferred but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions closely.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Physical ability to lift and manoeuvre equipment and cables as needed.

  • Basic understanding of networking and IT infrastructure is a plus.

This is a temporary position with a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of transition to a Ops Tech role based on business needs. Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
