About Client: one of the larger clients in the area, Walmart being another one. Not much competition yet so pay rates are rather low.

Excellent pay for the Sequatchie Valley starting with Adecco, and a pay raise if you stay on to be hired over to Mann + Hummel after the required work period, approximately 3 months.

Job Description: (Please add to the description - this is for our internal team to source and assess candidates)

Sit down forklift position 2nd/3rd Weekend shift

  • This position is responsible for packing, transporting, and distributing correct purchased and work-in-process components to work cells, removing, and properly storing finished goods, loading, and unloading trucks, build/assemble expendable packaging, and other material handling duties as assigned.

  • Able to safely operate all material handling equipment. (sit down forklift only)

  • Transport distributes and store materials in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner utilizing proper equipment.

  • Handles all materials carefully and actively works to avoid employee injuries and product damage.

  • Distributes correct purchased and work-in-process components to work cells.

  • Picks and repacks purchased components to be delivered to production cells

  • Properly receive incoming materials

  • Assemble, band, and shrink wrap packaging as needed

  • Accurately removes finished containers from work cells and places them in correct finished goods location for shipment.

  • Accurately stock correct purchased components at work cells referencing lot traceability.

  • Places purchased and work-in-process components in flow cells in proper locations.

  • Practices good 5S housekeeping techniques and actively participates in 5S activities.

  • Proper use of KANBAN System.

  • Communicates problems and issues during shift and at shift changes.

  • Keeps the Warehouse Supervisor advised of any production, downtime, quality, or safety problems related to material flow.

  • Performs activities in a positive and professional manner.

  • Maintains an acceptable attendance record to ensure timely work completion.

  • Must have knowledge of and adhere to the current Quality System requirements that relate to this job

  • Must adhere to and be trained in logistics and production basics

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Packing, transporting, and distributing correct purchased and work-in-process components to work cells. Removing and properly storing finished goods, loading, and unloading trucks, build/assemble expendable

  • Any other material handling duties as assigned.

  • Payrate is $18.50/hr

Special Requirements or Call outs: (ex: standing for long hours, lifting requirements, etc.)

Must have HS diploma or GED, must have 3 years recent driving experience, must have VALID drivers license.

Transportation/Parking Information (Is the client's site accessible by public transportation? Does client validate parking? Does client provide reimbursement for parking? Etc.)

Large parking lot next to factory, with security cameras. No public transportation.

Have you ever worked here before (working at this facility 2 or more times is an automatic disqualifier, either as temp or perm)?

Can you work 7 days a week if need be

Assignment Type: (CPE, LT Temp, ST Temp, Temp to Hire, Etc.)

Temp could be temp to hire by moving over to Mann + Hummel, after 720 work hours, approx. 3 months.

Hours: (ex: 12-hour shifts - 4:00AM-4:00PM)

2nd / 3rd shift 7am-7pm weekend Friday-Sunday

Is OT required:

Yes. You may be asked to work some weekdays

PPE/Dress code: (list any PPE the candidate will need to provide. Ex: steel toed shoes)

Safety glasses (provided), hearing protection (provided)

Talent Factory Delivery: (ex: Direct Send (offer accepted) Field Review (Internal Submission) + any overfill needs (ex: direct send overfill by 10)

Education/Certification Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required for this position

Experience requirements: (ex: entry level, 5 years, etc.)

Must have 3 years of forklift experience (sit down) (recent)

Assessments Needed: (list any assess testing needed)

Yes (fkl testing) will also have to complete the require FKL assessments that are required by the company

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
