Adecco is now hiring hiring skilled Machinist at our client site, in Denton, TX, and we are Hiring Immediately!
This Machinist position is direct hire with a pay scale ranging from $18.91 - $32.70 based off experience.
Work Schedule will be 2nd shift 4:15pm to 2:45am Monday-Friday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include
Setup and operate CNC equipment such as CNC lathes and CNC mills, and/or setup and operate manual equipment such as tube bending machines, mills, engine lathes, chucker lathes, and surface grinders.
Setup and operate secondary shop machinery, such as band saws, drill presses, various tool grinders, abrasive saws, vibratory tumblers, etc.
Perform inspection of parts using various precision metrology instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, optical comparators, etc.
Document part inspections during part runs to ensure conformance to specifications.
Perform manual deburring operations.
Design and build tooling, fixtures and jigs as required.
Select and machine various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, Ultem, Delrin, etc.
Interpret technical drawings, prints and manufacturing specifications.
Perform tool grinding on carbide and high-speed steel tool bits and drills.
Use shop mathematics including trigonometry.
Follow work orders and travelers, and maintain necessary documentation for traceability.
Produce and maintain part set-up sheets.
Maintain proper coolant and oil levels.
Perform delegated preventive maintenance on shop machinery.
Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of all applicable safety rules and regulations.
Promote and participate in continuous improvement and team building activities.
Maintain high quality and safety standards.
Perform other tasks as assigned by department supervisor
Skills/ Required Knowledge
Computer literate with common programs on a basic level
Understand G and M code programing on a basic level
Minimum of 3 years experience required
Strong basic math skills and understanding of shop math including trigonometry
Pay Details: $18.91 to $32.70 per hour
