Construction Attorney Position: Associate Attorney
Salary: Approximately $135k, based on experience
Location: Preferably in-office, but open to remote work within reason
Team Composition: One shareholder, three non-equity attorneys, two associates, three paralegals, one legal assistant
Adecco is proud to partner with a midsized Dallas law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2 to 10 years of experience in civil litigation defense, with a strong preference for prior work in construction law or design professional law, to join our Dallas office.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyze legal sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, constitutions, and legal codes
Manage all phases of discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, electronic document production, and taking and defending depositions
Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other necessary legal documentation
Formulate legal strategy and case management
Appear in court for status hearings and trials
Work closely with other attorneys and team members on legal matters
Communicate with clients and provide status reports
Minimum Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
2 to 10 years of prior experience practicing law
Strong preference for previous practical work experience in construction litigation matters
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in handling a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage a caseload independently and responsibly
Willingness to travel as needed

Pay Details: $130.00 to $135.00 per year
