Position: Maintenance Tech
Location: Columbia, SC
Salary Level: Hourly, $18/hr

Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure optimal performance through regular upkeep, troubleshooting breakdowns, and coordinating repairs with supervisors and managers.
Upgrades and Installations: Assist in upgrading existing equipment and installing new machinery as part of planned projects.
Preventative Maintenance: Help maintain our proactive maintenance program to prevent downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
Electrical Expertise: Handle electrical issues ranging from 24VDC control to 480VAC 3 ph industrial systems.
Safety Focus: Address safety concerns, maintain emergency lighting, and uphold lock out tag out procedures and other safety protocols.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain building grounds, perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed.
Inventory Management: Keep track of repair parts and shop supplies to ensure smooth operations.
Other Duties: Be ready to pitch in where needed to support our team and company goals.
Requirements:
Experience: Three years in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; skilled crafts or trades training preferred.
Skills: Hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with mechanical tools, electrical test equipment, and reading blueprints.
Tools: Must have own mechanic's tools.
Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
Work Environment:
Normal noise levels typical of a factory setting.
Well-lit work environment conducive to productivity.
Additional Benefits:

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
