Adecco US, Inc. First Line Cook in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Job Summary:

Pay: $19-$21/hr

Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a First Line Cook, This role involves supervising line cooks and prep cooks, preparing and cooking food, and ensuring that all dishes are cooked properly and ready to serve on time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee food preparation, food service, and cleaning procedures.

  • Manage all food storerooms, including fridges and freezers.

  • Ensure maintenance and cleaning in the respective sections.

  • Participate in food storage quality and quantity controls when required.

  • Maintain high standards of food presentation in collaboration with the Executive Chef.

  • Plan, direct, control, cook, and coordinate kitchen activities to agreed standards.

  • Prepare and cook food to established standards.

  • Train and guide cooks on a continuous basis.

  • Suggest improvements in raw materials, menus, cost savings, and equipment.

  • Maintain all charts and records according to ServSafe requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen.

  • Ability to follow recipes accurately.

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently.

  • Creativity and ability to contribute to menu development.

  • Passion for cooking and a desire to provide high-quality dishes.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Two (2) or more years of cooking experience.

  • Experience with food supply systems.

  • Must be 21 or older and pass a drug screening.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
