Job Summary:

Multiple shift available

Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a Baker, offering a competitive pay rate of $15.00-$17.00/hr. The Baker prepares and bakes various goods such as bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked items, ensuring high-quality products.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mix ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and glazes according to recipes.

  • Shape dough to create bread, rolls, cookies, and other products.

  • Bake bread, cookies, cakes, and other bakery items.

  • Decorate cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.

  • Monitor the baking process to identify needed adjustments.

  • Ensure proper storage of baking ingredients and finished products.

  • Clean and maintain baking equipment and work areas.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards.

  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and creativity in decorating baked goods.

  • Ability to work early morning shifts.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred.

  • Must be 21 or older and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel.

  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
