Job Summary:
Multiple shift available
Adecco is assisting a local client in their search for a Baker, offering a competitive pay rate of $15.00-$17.00/hr. The Baker prepares and bakes various goods such as bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked items, ensuring high-quality products.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Measure and mix ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and glazes according to recipes.
Shape dough to create bread, rolls, cookies, and other products.
Bake bread, cookies, cakes, and other bakery items.
Decorate cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.
Monitor the baking process to identify needed adjustments.
Ensure proper storage of baking ingredients and finished products.
Clean and maintain baking equipment and work areas.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and creativity in decorating baked goods.
Ability to work early morning shifts.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred.
Must be 21 or older and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour
