Requirements : To be considered for this role you must have the following skills, experience, and certifications:

-Must be CPhT Certified and hold a current Pharmacy Tech License for the state of NC- This is not negotiable.

  • Must have 1-3 years of Data Intake Pharmacy Technician experience.

-Must have excellent Data Entry skills

-Experience working in a Central Fill setting is a big plus!

-High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Pay- The anticipated wage for this position is between $ 21 and $22

Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

Schedule : Monday-Friday 11-8 EST or Monday-Friday 10-7

Training is Monday-Friday 9am - 6pm

Location - Cary, NC 27513

  • ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive written and electronic prescriptions or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate

  • Enter and maintain prescription data using pharmacy software system.

  • Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement/payment.

  • Perform computer system operations; includes order entry, billing, crediting, and updating medical records.

  • Verify all information is complete on the prescription.

  • Ensure that patients allergies, therapies, and current medication are updated regularly in patient profile history.

  • Monitoring multiples queues

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
