BUYER (Pharmacy)

Adecco is assisting a security systems industry in recruiting a BUYER located in CAGUAS . This is a TEMPORARY assignment opportunity. Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Working dates: Monday to Friday

Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary starts $14.42 per hour (varies depending on experience)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team. As a Buyer your main responsibilities are focus on issue purchase orders, inventory management and vendor management.

Responsibilities Summary:

Maintains proper level of goods.

  • Prevents avoidable stock-outs.

  • Ensure accuracy of supplier information in Company enterprise systems (e.g., costs)

  • Execute procurement contracts in accordance with their terms.

  • Monitors purchasing statistics (e.g. fill rate, stable purchases, inventory levels)

  • Monitor availability news on various vendor and websites/emails, stock levels to help identify potential shortages.

  • Monitor status of shortages and impending release data to help identify and plan for the event of stock outs based upon use and availability.

  • Attend all required department meetings, orientation, and training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years as certified pharmacy technician and at least 2 years as buyer of pharma and medical equipment in a hospital setting.

  • Bilingual: English/Spanish

  • Strong Computer proficiency: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

  • Knowledge of State, Federal and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

  • Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions and respond timely and effectively to any request.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal format.

  • Highly organized and sharp attention to detail; ability to organize processes, data, and documents.

  • Ability to set and meet goals and deadlines, sense of urgency to complete tasks.

  • Excellent customer service skills: ability to anticipate customer needs.

Pay Details: $14.42 per hour
